“Sun Damage (Right Upper Arm Surface Map)”
Reclaimed brick mineral pigment, beeswax, cyanotype on BFK Rives printmaking paper
22 x 30 inches

(Right Upper Arm Surface Map)

The cyanotype process uses ultraviolet (UV) light to produce a deep prussian blue. Sun spots are caused by overactive pigment cells and are prone to occur on skin frequently exposed to the UV light of the sun.

This painting is part of the  “Surface Maps” series.
