About the work
My work is in dialogue with concerns of digital capitalism, desire for human connection, and existential questions in an age of virtual experiences. Digital capitalism encourages a culture of hyperconnectivity and virtual experiences, which may cause us to feel isolated (physically separated from others and disembodied from a multi-sensory experience) despite a desire to connect. My work prompts contemplation about the nature of reality, presence, and identity in an era where virtual experiences (and even AI-generated experiences) can be as meaningful and real as physical ones.
