The cutaway of the ground showing the germination of a seed is an image that I return to repeatedly.
All seeds have the potential to become plants, but not all will receive the right environment and factors in order to reach their potential.
I start to grow some of my dreams, but I don’t know how they will turn out. Like the plant, I will nurture and grow my dreams despite not knowing the future.
This painting is part of Susan’s solo exhibition “Potential Energy”.
